Professor Emerita of Music from Ohio Northern University, Dr. Sunny Zank, taught Music Theory, Music History and Ethnomusicology while retaining her roots in piano and violin. As a violinist she performed with numerous orchestras in Germany, Canada and the US — most recently the Lima Symphony and the ONU Symphony. Dr. Zank holds degrees in Music History, and Music Theory/Composition from the University of Northern Colorado and the University of Oregon. Currently Dr. Sunny teaches strings/piano to a wide variety of students and continues to give presentations of her research.
