Salvation
The Bible tells us the way to God, and it is clear for everyone to understand. We at Calvary Bible Church would like to share this way with you. Please take the first step in a life-changing decision by letting us tell you about God and eternity. Our motive is not that you would join the church or give money, but that you spend eternity with Christ.
Are you saved? This is one of the most important questions you will ever answer.
The Bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).
Sometimes we think that some sins are worse than others, but all sin makes us sinners. Everyone has sinned.
The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
The penalty for our sin is death. This means eternal separation from God in Hell. We are free to make choices every day, but we are not free to choose the consequences of our choices.
The Bible says, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8).
Jesus Christ died for us, not because we were good enough, but because He loved us.
The Bible says, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13).
We need to listen to God by reading and studying what is written down in the Bible. We need to believe what God says and be obedient to God. Call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Admit and repent of your sins and accept the free gift of eternal life through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
